Somerset Box - I found this intricate box top while studying How the Irish Saved Civilisation. This was drawn about the same time I wrote The Monastary. Done in pencil. |

Seashell (with handwriting by Emily!) This painting/drawing is in watercolor markers and actual watercolors. I was with my friend Sian, a fellow artist, at the Cape. The tide was going out while we painted. When finished we were able to walk out about half a mile to where the ocean was. That's what inspired me to thinking of the poem by C.S. Lewis. |

Star Faerie - Pencil. The Star Faerie is a combination of my sister's clothes design (which I've seen on her numerous doodles), Unicorn people who appear in both of our designs, and the faerie of old. |
History Pixie - Having been drawn and colored (pencil) during a long 8th grade history course, she became the History Pixie. |
Globe Faerie - (Pen) Drawn while writing a story for my friend Tarra, he was just an interesting figure that appeared. The Globe Faerie was also somewhat of a triumph since I'm not terribly good at drawing men. |
Dragon Staff - (Pen) This dragon was drawn on the same story. He's one of the many dragons that I draw, but the only creature influenced by the Oriental style in my collection. |
Lady - (Pencil) The face was drawn from Heads I. The hair and clothes were partially my own design. |
Merideth's Hands - (Pencil) My friend (and "Mommy") posed her hands in the most comfortable position for this assignment. |
Renee's Eyes - (Pencil) One I'm particularly proud of is the eyes of my fellow oboeist and bell-player. |
Commercial Guy - (Pencil) Another victory: I've drawn a man! |
Romeo - (Pencil) Yes, I do love this 1960's version. Being bored one night, I discovered that I can still draw men; it wasn't just one victory. |
Obi Wan: Drawing - Taken from my lunch box during band camp, this is what comes of being the daughter of a Star Wars Enthusiast. |
After Test Syndrome - (Pen) Under the influence of the computer game "Myst" and much free time after a 9th grade English test, this doodle came to be. |
Swamp Island - (Pencil) Yet another product of "Myst." I decided to form my own island. Unfortunately, I lost all of the obstacles on the island due to disorganisation! |
Stoneship Island - (Pen) An actual "Myst" island. This drawing is from my extensive notes on the game. |
